A New Year has dawned on the Macneil Studio and with it, an exciting new
Work premises for us. We had outgrown the old studio and fortunately managed to secure a great set of offices at our local business centre, located just two miles from home. The majority of our Christmas and New Year break has seen us up and down the road, cars full of various boxes and equipment. The new offices are now up and running and to see the business expand and relocate has brought us great pleasure and much excitement. We are eagerly beginning 2014 and what feels like a new era for the Macneil Studio.
2013 saw quite a shift regarding our design production. When we first began The Macneil Studio , the majority of our work, both commissioned and speculative, was for the paper product industry, i.e, greetings cards, bags, tags, notelets etc.
However, 2012/13 saw the launch of Richard Macneil designs used on several collections of giftware/home ware ranges. Many items amongst these ranges have proved to become best selling products.
Continuing our collaboration with Artko, one of the U.K's leading framed printers, we have now had approximately 30 Richard Macneil designs produced as framed prints for the retail sector. Amongst the biggest retailer to sell Richard Macneil Prints is John Lewis as well as British Homestores. With high demand and much interest in Richard Macneil Prints we can now offer, along with framed prints, a selection of unframed designs as well as stretch box canvases. The framed designs can be found on our new print shop webpage which is on the "shop" section of this website. We also have a range of unframed prints available on an ebay shop,

.
We would like to thank everybody for their continued support and custom and wish you all a happy and prosperous 2014.

It has been a wonderful, productive start to the year here at the Macneil Studio. We have seen a demand for prints being purchased from the "print shop", via our website, steadily grow and with this demand we have decided to re-launch our website to ensure we create a version that is as user friendly as possible. We are aware that with this change we currently have less prints than previously available. However we wish to assure all of our customers that this is a temporary measure. We are working hard to create our print-shop so that it includes an extended range of artwork which shall include designs available as framed pieces, unframed prints and stretch box canvasses. We also hope to in the near future to re-release many of our earlier, much loved designs that are currently unavailable to purchase.
We encourage you all to keep checking the website "print shop" as we progress forward. Spring/summer 2014 will see new prints designed which we will be unveiling in the print shop in the near future.
